When we are no longer able to change a situation - we are challenged to change ourselves.

Victor E. Frankl

I have been intrigued with the field of psychology and helping others since I can remember. I grew up in Southern California, the oldest of four kids. Post college and grad school, I moved away to help support my husband in his career. We moved all over the country, had children and have since landed in Northern California where we enjoy exploring the beautiful outdoors as a family.

The years between graduating and becoming a registered intern, have been filled with life's challenges, grief, parenthood, job and living transitions, entrepreneurship and much more. I am currently in the process of accruing hours as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist via telehealth and in person through the The Place Within in Roseville, CA.

I am a psychodynamically oriented therapist providing a safe and contained space for a deep and lasting transformation of a person's feelings, thoughts and experiences in relationship to others and to him/herself. Our work in therapy includes staying curious to what comes up each session, looking at family of origin dynamics to help shed light on certain blindspots and pain and walking along side you on your journey towards growth and healing. I look forward in connecting with you!

I primarily work with couples and individuals who have a variety of emotional and relational issues including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, boundary setting, parenting concerns and sex and intimacy issues within the relationship.

I am also a PACT level 1 couples therapist, specializing in couple relationships. I have spent years doing my own work in therapy and place a high value in continuing education and training.
